"Really don’t understand why the grip end is open? I’ve never in my life of racing forever seen a throttle tube with the end open so If you crash you get dirt into your bar? Or if you use grip glue the grip glue goes between the bar and the throttle tube and you just have a sticky throttle tube. Pretty terrible design and pretty disappointing"

"Great upgrade over stock plastic throttle tube and allows full size grips. I do wish the end of the tube was covered so it would prevent any grip glue from getting inside. On my first attempt I used too much glue and it got into the tube and made it stick to the handlebar slightly. I was able to cut the grip off without damaging the throttle tube and used masking tape over the end the second time."
